Position Summary

ACFSS is seeking reliable and professional Fee for Service Drivers to support children, youth, and

families by providing safe and approved transportation services. This role operates under Akamihk

Child and Family Services Society standards and requires strong boundaries, confidentiality, and

cultural respect.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation for children, youth, and families as approved by Caseworkers

• Follow all Request & Expense authorizations and caseworker direction

• Conduct safety checks at pick-up and drop-off locations

• Support supervised visits and approved activities when required

• Maintain accurate, factual, and timely reports

• Immediately report safety concerns or critical incidents

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (Alberta)

• Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle

• 2 million dollar liability insurance coverage

• Clean Driver’s Abstract

• Criminal Record Check & Child Intervention Check (required)

• Strong communication and decision-making skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries

• Knowledge of Indigenous culture and communities is an asset

Requirements

• Strict adherence to confidentiality and FOIP guidelines

• Must follow all caseworker approvals

• Maintain a safe vehicle (First Aid Kit, car/booster seats if required)

• Ability to complete and submit reports and invoices on time

• Available for flexible hours, including evenings/weekends
