POSITION: RECEPTIONIST DEPARTMENT: RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENTSummary: Under the direction of the Residential Development Manager, the receptionist is responsible for all incoming calls and directing the public to appropriate personnel. POSITION:                              RECRUITMENT OFFICER

DEPARTMENT:                     PERSONNEL

SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Personnel Department Manager, the Recruitment Officer will be responsible for recruitment and selection of available employment positions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Prepare to do the interview process from beginning to end.

·       Ensure that proper recruitment and selection procedures are followed implementing the following procedures:

o   Post all employment opportunities as per directive from Sr. Manager or Manager’s memos.

o   Review and revise all Job Descriptions if required.

o   Record incoming applications and respond to inquiries.

o   Complete reference checks where applicable.

o   Screening process of all applicants.

o   Set an interview date.

o   Select an interview selection committee.

o   Work with the Sr. Manager/Manager for questions.

o   Call applicants and schedule interviews (via Zoom or in person).

o   Chair interviews.

o   Submit interview report to respective Sr. Manager and File.

o   Submit letter of offer to successful applicant.

·       Mediate labor relations issues to respective departments.

·       Performs other duties as requested by the Manager, Sr. Manager, and Band Administrator.

Qualifications:

·       Must have a minimum or Grade 12.

·       Office Administration Certificate or Diploma.

·       Ability to greet and deal with the public in a pleasant and polite manner.

·       Must have knowledge of computers.

·       Must have good organization and time management skills.

·       Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

·       Must be willing to sign an Oath of Confidentiality.

·       Must submit an updated resume with certificates, references and a copy of Driver’s licenses.

·       Submit a clear Criminal Record check.

·       Must possess a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

·       May be subject to Drug Test.

POSITION:                       RECEPTIONIST/CLERK

 

DEPARTMENT:               FINANCE

Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Finance Manager/Supervisor and Financial Administrator, the receptionist performs routine clerical work such as: answering and recording all incoming calls, recording data, photocopying, mail processing, and directing the employees to the appropriate personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1.         Greet the staff courteously and professionally.

2.         Answers all incoming calls and takes messages for staff members in a friendly and courteous manner and ensures that messages are distributed accordingly.

3.         Record all incoming and outgoing correspondence by developing and maintaining a records management.

4.         Record all payroll, pay lists, and invoices submitted by various departments for payment and ensure that all documents are stamped and submitted to the Finance Manager/Supervisor and Financial Administrator’s office for review.

5.         Cheque distribution for all departments and assist with mailing out cheques on a weekly basis.

6.         Detail-orientated, will refer incomplete pay lists/payroll to respective departments.

7.         Train on Financial Accounting System

            - Enter Purchase Orders

            - Cross-training to assist with the different pillars

8.         Responsible for making appointments and directing membership and staff to the office of the Finance Manager/Supervisor and Financial Administrator for meetings.

9.         Ensure that the front desk is always neat and tidy.

10.       Perform other clerical duties such as compiling and recording data, and operating office equipment.

11.       Performs other related duties as the Finance Manager/Supervisor and Financial Administrator assigns.

Qualifications:

1.     Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent, Clerical training and experience, Ability to speak and understand Cree (an asset).

2.     Resume, Criminal Record Check, Valid Driver’s License.

3.     Telephone etiquette and strong communication skills, Professional

4.     Computer skills required

            -Understanding of Financial Accounting 

            -Microsoft Office Word/Excel

5.     Maybe subject to a Drug Test.
