POSITION: Nipisihkopahk Iyiniswin Trust Fund Coordinator (NITF)

DEPARTMENT: NITF Office


Summary:

Under the direction of the NITF Trustees, the Nipisihkopahk Iniswin Trust Fund Coordinator will perform a variety of activities designed to provide the multi-faceted programs to the Samson Cree Nation Membership. perform a variety of activities designed… Such as: incentives, award programs, and an annual report, while providing accurate information to the Board of Trustees (BOT) in accordance with policies.


Duties and Responsibilities

· Coordinate, integrate and supervise incentives and awards programs, fiscal and human resources and administration of NITF.

· Identify immediate and future programming and administer the needs of the

NITF and develop appropriate plans and recommendations for meetings.

· Provide accurate information to Board of Trustees, staff, parents, students and guardians in accordance with policies.

· Facilitate the development, implementation, assessment and possible amendment of the NITF policies.

· Liaison with the chairman of the BOT on the effectiveness of NITF policies and, where necessary, recommend appropriate amendments.

· Prepare data summaries of past and present NITF programs applicants for estimation of future revenues and expenditures.

· Prepare annual budget,

· Provide briefings and reports to the Chairman regularly.

· Develop and implement long-range planning with approval of the board.

· Conduct research and gather data in relation to SCN Membership population.

· Review and update NITF applications, process applications, and update and maintain student records.

· Liaise with educational institutions in relation to NITF matters.

· Provide an annual overview of the management of NITF to the member.

· Liaise with financial institutions and campuses in accordance with the trust deed.

· Provide an annual overview… to the membership

· Maintain communication weekly with students through the website.


Qualifications:

· Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license and own transportation.

· Must have excellent communication and writing skills.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel. Experience with Xyntax and Dadavan will be an asset.

· Minute-taking would be an asset.

· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

· Must be able to take training/seminars/conferences when required.

· Clean criminal record check.

· An undergrad degree or experience within business is an asset.
