Spirit Employment & Training Edmonton Inc. is hiring Industrial Cleaning Labours (up to 100 Workers) to assist in the operation and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment including vacuum trucks, high pressure water equipment and various specialty tools. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing support on our shutdown and turnaround projects starting 2023. These positions require working 12-hour days with lot of overtime.
Key Duties
v Assists in operating a variety of industrial services equipment
v Uses hand tools as directed
v Responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of equipment
v Performs basic Labor duties as assigned
v Working in confined spaces such as vessels and tanks. Experience working with Wet Vacuum, Dry Vacuum & high-pressure Water Blasting would be an asset.
Key Qualifications.
v Physically fit, NOT afraid of heights or confined spaces
v Safety Tickets: ESC Common Safety Orientation, ESC Confined Space, ESC Fall protection, ESC H2S Alive, CSTS, Bear Awareness, Mask Fit testing, APR/RPE Training (missing tickets - Spirit can provide training and help you obtain these tickets)
v PPE, Steel Toe CSA approved boots
v Good communication skills
Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned
