Open: January 25, 2023 Closed: February 8, 2023 Interview: To be notified Summary: Reporting to the Pre-Employment Supports Coordinator, the PESP ADVISOR is a proactive professional who utilizes an integrated services approach to strengthen the Louis Bull Tribes workforce. The PESP Advisor provides support and guidance to PESP clients to implement the Social Development Program. This model includes Application, Employment Readiness Assessments, Case Plan development, monitoring and client mentoring in the context of the Income Assistance/PESP program. The PESP Advisor guides individuals to make informed choices to enable them to achieve and sustain their personal employment and career development goals. The PESP ADVISOR will support and mentor the client to enhance their skills and develop a path to success through provision of post-employment supports; and will both mobilize and coordinate other service providers in implementation of the client’s Case Plan. Duties Include: • Community and Public Relations • Knowledge of the ISC Social Program • Facilitates the implementation and assessment of the ISC Social Policy Required Credentials • Clear Criminal Records check and CYIM check • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License • Post-Secondary Degree and or Diploma in the Field of Social Sciences/Humanities or equivalent experience in related field.
