Application Process
1. Complete the online application.
o You will be asked to provide your name, address, contact information, previous election experience, positions interested in, dates available and languages spoken.
o You must check all roles you are interested in when submitting your application. You will not be able to re-apply another time.
o A resume or cover letter is not required.
2. Your application will be automatically forwarded to the returning office for the electoral division that you reside in.
o Returning office staff will contact qualified applicants by phone or email to discuss the applicant’s qualifications and available positions.
3. All election workers are required to complete online training and attend an in-person training session to prepare them for their workday. Training details will be provided during the hiring process.
4. For Maskwacis ballots, the ballots will be counted at the Returning Office in Wetaskiwin. Therefore, at the end of the vote; the secured ballots will be transferred to Wetaskiwin by a qualified Election Worker.
5. Your own transportation MUST be required.
