We currently have a temporary summer position available for a Commercial Lines Coordinator in our Commercial Property Department. The duration of this role will be from approximately May 1, 2023 – September 1, 2023. Reporting to the “Rest of Canada” (ROC) Underwriting Manager, this role is an excellent opportunity for a post-secondary student looking to gain some practical, hands-on working experience. Primary Duties and Responsibilities • Log and triage quotes • Flood mapping • Assist with administration tasks such as sorting incoming mail • Inspection ordering • Identify and Process Data Clean Up for Policies Required Qualifications • Must be currently enrolled in a related post-secondary program. • Effective problem-solving skills. • Possess a pleasant telephone manner and solid communication skills. • Intermediate skills in Microsoft excel and the ability to learn new computing software quickly. • Ability to provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a diverse team. • Professional, efficient, and proactive with time-management and organizational skills. • Must be able to work from the office.
