Position Summary:
As a **Corrosion Technician Labourer**, you will be responsible for the installation,
maintenance, and troubleshooting of cathodic protection systems used to control
corrosion in metal structures such as pipelines, tanks, and other infrastructure. You will work closely with engineers, field personnel, and clients to ensure the reliability and
effectiveness of corrosion control systems.
• *Position Information**:
Work duration: spring, summer, and fall projects
17/4 rotation, including travel days
Day shift, outdoors, must enjoy the outdoors and walking ,Accommodations and LOA provided
Training will be provided
Duties:
Perform regular inspections and testing of cathodic protection systems to ensure
proper functionality. Install, test, adjust and/or repair rectifiers, anodes, and CP test
points/stations
Perform continuity tests and soil resistivity measurements.
Prepare and submit detailed reports, including test results, system status, and remedial recommendations for improvements.
Follow safety standards and best practices to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Requirements
Valid Class 5 driver’s license (non-GDL) with clean driving record, AN ASSET
With remote location navigation experience, including ATV/Quad/Sled utilization as an asset.
High attention to detail and organizational skills with strong communication and
interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to manage time to meet appropriate
deadlines.
