Description: Full-time, starting as soon as possible. $16-17 hourly for 35-44 hours per week 2 Vacancy Must be available to work a variety of shifts – days, evenings, weekends and holidays
Essential Skills: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes. Plan menu, determine size of portions, estimate food requirements and costs, monitor and order supplies. Train staff in preparation, cooking and safe food handling. Supervisor kitchen staff and helpers. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment. Clean kitchen and work areas. Wash dishes.
Additional Skills: Prepare dishes for Guests with food allergies or intolerances Educational Requirements: Secondary (High) School graduation certificate or equivalent
Experience: 1year to less than 2 years experience
Work Setting: Fast-paced Kitchen of a Full-Service Restaurant and Lounge Up to 8 kitchen employees per shift but also able to work independently with minimal direct supervision
Language: English
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate or equivalent and Safe Food Handling Certificate or Food Safety Certificate
