EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY - RECEPTIONIST - RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT
Summary:
Under the direction of the Residential Development Manager and Administrative Assistant, the receptionist is responsible for all incoming calls and directing the public to appropriate personnel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for all incoming calls.
· Be helpful and courteous to clientele and directs the public to the proper personnel.
· Photocopy material as necessary.
· Record all invoices, incoming/outgoing mail and distributes circulars to appropriate personnel.
· Maintains a business phone/address register for office use.
· Types correspondence for the Residential Development staff through the use of a computer.
· Assists in departmental filing system.
· Performs other related duties as assigned by the Residential Development Manager or Administrative Assistant.
· Records Residential Development committee and staff meetings when requested to do so.
· Maintains a neat and tidy office area.
· Must be willing to take additional training if required.
· Maintains occupant/tenant list.
· Produce and distribute correspondence memo’s, letters and forms.
· Order office supplies and maintain office equipment.
Qualifications
· Must have Grade 10 education or equivalency.
· Basic computer knowledge - ex. Word, excel…
· Knowledge and understanding of the Cree language.
· Must be reliable, punctual and dependable.
· Maybe subject to a drug and alcohol testing.
· Submit valid Driver’s License.
· Submit an up to date criminal records check.
· Submit an up to date resume.
